1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 429 Cobra Jet
This is a unique and original 429 Cobra Jet, 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in great condition.
The ad. says ‘Fresh engine and transmission’ which at first implies a replacement, but then it goes on to say, ‘all no# are correct’ so, this may be a numbers matching vehicle, but all interested parties will have to doublecheck if interested.
The car has been repainted to the color you see here in 1986, the original color being white.
It seems the exterior has a few scratches here and there, but that seems to be the only downside to the exterior.
The interior looks in great shape as is the engine and engine bay. It may not be totally concourse condition, but it definitely looks like a car that would stand out in most shows.
The listing says everything else works fine and even has a cruise control that was installed when first purchased.
The car is an original, California vehicle, which if correct means it at least has lived in a warm, dry environment.
60s Mustangs are usually the most collectable, but only 70s models and especially a 429 Cobra Jet are moving up in the market, so don’t ignore this one if you fancy a vintage Mustang with plenty of power.
