A 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge in prime condition is a fantastic vehicle to behold. Not just because of its ultra-sleek beauty and vintage looks, but just because it’s a great design. However, this example here is definitely seen better days and will need a lot of work to bring it back to its former glory. The ad. says this is the ‘ride and handling package’ and was originally sold at Schofield Bros. in Wichita, Kansas on 2-3-70.
The bodywork clearly has a lot of surface rust will only take him back down to the metal in most places, but how far the rural schools is unclear from the images. the ad says most the car is solid apart from the trunk and floors having a few small holes. The interior is relatively intact. basically, everything here to make a start on the good restoration. The trunk hinges, spoiler and real real lips seemed to be questionable, but you can add this to the list of jobs needed for the rest of the car. The original 400 V8 engine has been replaced with a 455 truck motor which is currently stuck, so it’s your decision. If you keep with this engine go for an original 400.
All GTO Judges should be restored and rejuvenated. If possible, but it’s if you think the asking price of $19,950 is worth in this case. The ad. asks for ‘make an offer’ so this is probably best route to follow.
