Hurricane Hit 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

It’s a sad fact that during natural disasters such as hurricanes there will be property and in particular vehicles that will suffer and subsequently have to be sold on in some cases. This is one such example in the form of a 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle. The vehicle is currently located in Houston, Texas being sold for $6,100.

The car does seem to be listed as flood damaged, but it seems that the water only went up to the door jamb which means that the interior and the engine should still be in good condition as seen from the images. Trying to conclude the extent of flood damage from a sample images is quite hard, especially when it was quite recent but both the exterior and interior still look in great shape, so it is presumed that the majority of the work here will be getting rid of all the moisture and getting the car back up and running. Rust prevention is key with these vintage cars.
