LSX-powered 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Street Cruiser
By Jon Whitehead
This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle started life with humble beginnings, but soon as its present owner Billy Bob of Sherwood of Wisconsin got his hands on the thing, he wanted it to turn it into a baddie Chevelle on the road.
Long story short, the car is now powered by a 427ci. LSX V8 engine with several hundred horsepower and 690 lb./ft. of torque running through a T56 Magnum six-speed transmission. Out of the rear is a Moser Fab 9 with 3.73 gearing with Wilwood disc brakes all round.
The paintwork was done by Pro Auto Custom Interior, Knoxville, Tennessee, with a custom interior and console.
