I admitted more than once before I love the 68, 69, and 70 Dodge Chargers. I want to own one bad but the prices keep jumping up to the point of no return for me. But, I saw this Charger the other day on the web and it appears to be a 67. Some true Charger fans just hate this car. They hate that long slope in the rear and will not even consider owning one.

Well. My nose is not that snobby. As bad as I want the three model years I stated above I could do a 66 or 67 any time. When I saw this picture I was so excited that someone else is taking the plunge on this car. I am looking forward to seeing this one done.
What I really like about the ’66 and ’67 is the interior. Sorry, I didn’t include an interior pictures but to me they are an absolute work of art.

So, as I browse the car ads. looking for a ’68 to ’70 Charger with a 440 and 727 Torqueflite transmission all I see are prices from 49k to nearly 100k. Those numbers are scary. There are two beauties right now for sale from Smokey Mountain traders and they appear to be top notch cars. But, you better have deep pockets. But, if you search for the 66 and 67 you will notice the price jump is not quite as high yet. Maybe Smokey will trade me a Charger for my Road Runner? I doubt it.
