Muscle Car
Long Live The Camaro.
By Mark Weisseg
Kids tend to say things like, ‘I want, I want, I want’ without any knowledge of the cost. Parents try to care when the kids say this but as a parent it can really tick you off. In the case of the Camaro in the picture, all I can think of is, ‘I want’, also roughly know the price.
Take a hard look at the Camaro featured here. Between the rag top, the 396 engine, the hideaway headlights and the overall amazing appearance, it is a no brainier as we say in adulthood.
Somethings do not change as we age, we just learn how to better get what we desire, because once you are in this hobby, you desire more. More as in bigger, better and faster.
Of course, there are those that are die hard Chevy fans and would not be caught dead driving a Mopar or a Ford. It works the other way as well, but if you are a loyal kind of person you can count on me for support. I just happen to have all three models due to a internal weakness of my brain to say NO.
I love nearly all makes And models and this old Camaro is one to love.
I know the new Camaro’s get all the attention because of creature comforts and all the bells and whistles. But for Camaro it all started in 1967 and for a long time the car was a massive hit. Only to fall victim to boredom and bland design and power. But, a few years ago GM woke from a long induced slumber and revived the Camaro name and made sure it was a bad ass. hopefully, this time it is here to stay for a very long time again.
