An Incredible 1965 Dodge Coronet Bad Ass

I have seen this car for several years now at our local car show. It is obviously jet black paint and is lifted a bit in both the front and rear. But look at what’s under that hood.

Jeepers and Golly. It’s a whopper. So, it’s a young guys car? Nope, try a couple in there late sixties. The car has a white interior and is spotless every week. When they turn that little Dodge key everyone is aware the car is running. I have made a giant mistake on this car and I will atone for it. I have never met the owners. I never bothered to go over and stick my hand out and introduce myself. Shake, shame, shame.

Next chance I get I will as I want the background story. It’s usually the only ’65 Coronet on site so that makes it somehow rare as well. My brotha had a 65 many moons ago but that had a slant six. The other 65 he had was fitted with a 426 max wedge engine. Now that car was fast. The poor fool sold it to get married too. Loser.

Anyway, look at This beast and study the engine. I promise a better look and discussion the next time I see this black widow maker.
