Here is the first-ever commercial for the 1967 Camaro SS RS 350.

This must have been one impressive looking commercial back in the day. Have a car emerge from an active volcano with more smoke and flames than a vintage KISS concert.

As common for commercials of the time, it was a sort of mix of the spectacle and features. Mentioning every single great feature possible on the product was standard of the day, rather than the subliminal messaging of today’s commercials, which highlight lifestyle more than straight ahead functionality.

Nearly 50 years old and just as impressive today.
