The Detomaso Pantera is a strange beast being a mix of Italian design and American horsepower.

The cars were built between 1971, 1992, under the Ghia firm and designer designer Tom Tjaarda incorporating a steel monocoque design another unique features.
It’s strange in a way, the distinctive gurgle of an American V8 with the design and looks of European styling.

It seems that when Europe and America join forces over a car, the results usually work out quite well. Remember the A/C Cobra?
