Mercurys are mostly overlooked from the classic muscle car era, so why not feature one today as a find of the Day.
This is not the typical situation like looking for a Camaro or a Mustang, where there are plenty to choose from. So finding one that has rare options is at least worth a second look.

This Mercury Cougar Eliminator needs plenty of work – total engine rebuild, in fact a possible full rotisserie restoration, but as it is one of 48 vehicles,  you could easily double your money here.
The images show some extent of the rust, which looks like it is more superficial rust then down to the subframe, but you will obviously need to check this out for real.
With the current buy it now price of US $20,500.00, would you consider this ride as a restoration job or spend the money on unarguably a more popular ride?
