Exclusive Look At The 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE

The unveiling of the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE delivers a new track focused car with European traits to give a performance vehicle to easily match its competitors.

The new Camaro has clearly had a facelift with new aerodynamic features, lowered suspension and clearly more track focused. There is a new carbon fibre rear wing, air deflectors on the front fascia, adjustable suspension with Multimatic DSSV dampers, ride height adjustment, dual mode exhaust, Brembo brakes and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires on 19 inch aluminium wheels. The hood, wheels and mirrors have all been painted black, giving a great two tone effect.

There’s also been weight saving all-round with the car being 60 pounds lighter than the standard ZL1.
The new version is also 3 seconds faster than a straightforward ZL1 round the GM Milford road course which means over 2.9 mile track, the increase is significant.

Engine wise the ZL1 1LE will have a 6.2 L LT4 supercharged V8 engine with 650 HP and 650lbs. ft. of torque with a six speed manual transmission, no automatic here. It should be hope to go on sale later this year, with prices seem to be announced.
