2016 Chevrolet Camaros made in the US – first time in 23 years.

Has it really been that long?
Although the Chevrolet Camaro is up there as one of the top muscle car in America, it has been manufactured since the 90s in Canada.
That is all to change, as the last Camaro will roll off the assembly line in Oshawa, Ontario on 20th November 2015.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will then be produced in Lansing, Michigan.

GM said recently that they would invest hundred and $75 million to upgrade the Lansing plant.
GM have also heavily invested in their Roanoke, Indiana Plant were this Sierra and Silverado pickup trucks are made and the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant which make the Corvette.
But as with most things in life, what one group gains another loses as the US manufacturing move will cost Canada 1000 jobs.
At this point, it is just speculation what will happen with GM and its Canadian plants, but GM is collaborating with Canada’s largest trade union to discuss the future of the Canadian operations.
