Lets say you are in the market for a Dodge Challenger Hellcat, but one that looks a bit different than the rest. Depending on your meaning of ‘different’ a ratrod/rusty patina look maybe just up your muscle car street.
This one is a 2015 model Challenger SRT Hellcat, with what looks like a wrap, rather than a hand-painted work. Either way, the final result has given the car the most distressed look possible as if it’s been at the bottom of the ocean for the last hundred years.
Apart from the exterior, everything seems to be stock Hellcat with the potent 6.2-liter supercharged engine and only 13,000 on the clock. You get simple and straightforward interior, large touch-screen display and being such low mileage has barely been sat in. There’s a clear difference between a car that is in bad condition and one that is made to look that way. we can generally tell the difference between something that has a designer distressed look and not, but you still have to look twice.
The car is clearly a 2015 Hellcat through and through, low mileage, good condition (even though it doesn’t look it), but it’s all down to if the exterior is to your taste. The listing says the original exterior color is ‘Ivory White Tri-Coat Pearl’ so it could be taken back to this color if need be. There’s one thing for sure, this Hellcat certainly stands out from the crowd no matter your opinion of it’s exterior and worth the money.
