There are those who want a complete original vintage pony car and those who want to vintage design with all modern parts. This example is in the latter group and this final product shows that there is a good argument for getting the best of both worlds from the old and the new.
The listing says that this has been a 10 year project replacing or upgrading everything on the car from the engine to the weather strips ( see the spec below). With the huge Merlin III 632ci. V8 with upwards of 900Hp and said to be an 8 second car, naturally aspirated, running on pump gas. The looks are as good as the huge engine as long as you like the purple look and sparse aluminium dash. The paintwork is incredible making the vehicle almost a cross between a show car and a racer.
The seller says they made even trade for a 2013 or newer Dodge Viper, 2014 or newer Corvette Z06 or ‘Nice Jet or V-drive Drag Lake Boat’, if you have one of these, you’re not using. clearly, this is a fine looking vehicle geared towards being a fine looking racer. Buying all the bits and the cost of restoration or probably be more than the asking price.
