‘This particular chassis has no racing history. We restored it from a basket case to commemorate the famous EX87/5951 Corvette which set the 150+ mph speed record at Daytona Beach in January 1956. It is presented as closely as possible to the paint scheme and configuration of that milestone car in Corvette History.’
‘This Corvette has been an extremely successful vintage race car, appearing at Monterey Historics/Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion 5 times. It was invited for 2014, but we were unable to attend. It has appeared at the Wine Country Classic/ Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival 10 times and has raced numerous times at Coronado and Portland. It is a consistent top 5 finisher in a race group which also includes the same period purpose built “specials”. It is consistently the fastest production based car in its group.’

‘This Corvette has a correct 265 ci engine. It is a 1956 block, which has provision for an oil filter. It has all top quality engine internal parts chosen for reliability as well as performance. It has one weekend on a fresh engine. It has a period correct Carter 4 barrel carburetor which has been painstakingly set up to perform well in road racing. The cam was chosen to be compatible with the original type stamped steel rocker arms required at Monterey and Sonoma. It has Doug Holmberg custom headers and exhaust system, including a set of Laguna Seca legal Flowmaster mufflers which are can quickly and easily replace the straight pipes when required. It has a Ron Davis racing radiator. It has a McLeod lightweight racing clutch and flywheel and a Chevrolet close ration 3 speed gearbox. It has period correct heavy duty racing drum brakes. It has a VARA legal bladder type fuel cell and a foam type on board fire system. It will come with 3 race prepared positraction gearsets, 4:56, 4:11 and 3:70. It has 2 sets of wheels.’
