Here is a chance for you to win either a 1971 Ford Mach 1 Or A 1968 Mustang Convertible GT 390-4V. Proceeds from the raffle will go to NORML, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization set up to educate the public to the benefits of medical marijuana for patients who should have the right to choose the best medicine for their needs.

The two vehicles are being provided by ‘Angel’s Garage,’ a husband and wife team who build cars for the stars. Currently, they are having their own show being filmed to not just promote their vehicles, but also the benefits of NORML.

‘Oh no’, I first thought, promoting a raffle for muscle cars in aid of further research into medical marijuana and an association with Tommy Chong. ‘Don’t touch it,’ was the first reaction but, this needed further investigation, instead of a knee-jerk reaction or jumping to conclusions. Like judging a car by just my opinions alone, without researching the vehicle or inspecting it.

You can’t really get a more controversial subject than medical marijuana, but as they had a raffle to potentially win two muscle cars, it at least inspired me to do my own research.
Talk about a can of worms. The research, opinions and feedback from both sides of the argument are vast, but it seems the amount of scientific data is severely lacking.
It seems very clear that long-term investigation and research is needed to see what the potential benefits and negative effects are of this substance.
It seems that due to the substance being made illegal, long-term data and research is severely lacking. If long-term studies had been started years ago, the true benefits and negatives would now be known. Without data, research and investigation, the knowledge we have is really hit and miss, and that seems a ridiculous situation.
The topic itself seems to have many facets on both sides of the story, but without research and data, there is nothing to back up either side.

If you don’t agree with what they are doing, simply ignore this article, but at least do your own research into this area. Don’t prejudge. Research, then draw your own conclusions. It’s your only way you will get as near to an objective standpoint, at present.
