Australia Ask For More Mustangs: 2000 Extra Supplied With SYNC 3 Infotainment

Australia now has its own right hand drive Mustang, so popular. Another 2000 units have been ordered.
The Mustangs will feature the new SYNC 3 infotainment system, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Waiting lists for the Mustang MY17 may run into 2017 with over 6000 units ordered already, the extra units will go towards fulfilling the latest orders. not surprisingly as it is now the country’s top selling sports car.

The new vehicles don’t just get the SYNC 3 updates, but also new colour options in Grabber Blue, Lightning Blue and White Platinum Tri-Coat.
The eco boost versions also gets a spare wheel, which is also the model which has grown the most in popularity, with 40% of Mustang convertibles sold in this format.

“The 2000 extra Mustangs heading for Australian shores demonstrates the excitement around the vehicle, and it validates Ford Australia’s commitment to invest in expanding our performance vehicle line-up to five models this year,” said Ford Australia president and CEO Graeme Whickman.
