Watch This 1000HP Dodge Challenger Hellcat Destroy an Axle!

The Dodge Challenger Hellcat is still rated as the most powerful modern muscle car, that’s until the Dodge Demon makes an appearance, but with all that power it can take its toll with multiple top end passes down the dragstrip.

With 707 HP produce from its supercharged V8 engine, this video shows a modified Dodge Challenger Hellcat with drag tires doing an impressive preliminary burnout, but then things don’t go as planned. The Hellcat launches well on the green light, but then veers to the right and left chewing up its own axle along the way.

The incident is short lived, but at least you get to see some more Hellcat action with some multiple Charger passes to make up the difference.
