The Last C7 Corvette Z06 Heading to Auction

In recent months the upcoming C8 Corvette has been capturing all the headlines in the world of performance vehicles and to no surprise. The next incarnation of the Corvette will be mid-engined to become a signed up member of the supercar club and a possible 1,000HP hybrid version. This has had an impact on current C7 sales as many people are holding onto their money for the next most shiny model. However, one C7 ‘Vette which will be eagerly snapped up is the last C7 to be ever built, which will be heading to Barrett-Jackson on June 28th 2019 to raise money for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

The last C7 as per the attached images is a black Z06 housing a 6.2-liter supercharged LT4 V8 with 650HP and a seven-speed manual transmission which translates to 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds. The car also sports the 3LZ trim package and leather-wrapped red interior package for good measure.

The new C8 will have big shoes to fill as the C7 is one fantastic performing sports car. How well the C8 will perform and be liked is something we will have to wait and see, but the C7 will definitely go down as one of the top performing ‘Vettes. This means that this particular auction could be a nice little investment for the right person.
