Rough And Ready 1972 Plymouth Barracuda 340
Although this 1972 Plymouth Barracuda looks very rough, everything seems to be quite solid and a good basis to build on.
It has a 340ci. engine with a 727 Torqueflite transmission which has quite a few miles on the clock, but nothing that cannot be bought back to life.
Looking in the engine bay, the original color seems to have been white, but it’s obvious a few other colors have been tried on this fish in the past.
The engine seems to be able to turn over, but if the thing can run any distance is another matter.
If you look at the interior it seems like the the dash and console are in okay condition, but the rest of the interior will need a restoration throughout.
If you look closely, there are various small holes throughout the bodywork and the damp conditions obviously haven’t helped, but at least it gives you an idea of what you will be up against if you took over this project.
The ad. says that the car does have a built sheet, but no trim tag.
With the current asking price of $7,100 with three days to go, this Cuda is obviously not in the best of condition, but for the right price could be a great starter project. Especially with 72 models slowly climbing in price.
