Revology Unveil Modern Take On Mustang Classic
A Florida startup Revology are offering a classic Mustang with all modern upgrades.
‘Our car is not just a copy,’ Scarpello says in a promotional video the company produced.
‘Our car is really a postmodern interpretation of that original Mustang. In other words, it is upgraded with modern technology and materials that weren’t available 50 years ago.’
Revology founder Tom Scarpello has used as base models 64 and 66 Mustangs, with a re-manufactured fuel injected 5L, 1990’s era 302 V8 supplied by Ford, producing 265hp.
All-new transmission, suspension and dash, which gives you the best of all worlds.
You can have the option of a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
These Mustangs start at $119,500, with a convertible going for $122,000.
But the question is if you are in the market for a Mustang restomod, would you source a donor vehicle and do this yourself OR pay more and have the peace of mind the car has been engineered from the ground up by a dedicated team?
Like most things, it will really come down to budget, but if you want the best of the classic and modern styles and technology, get in touch with Revology.
