Not all things are created equal in life.
This can’t be more true than with restored cars, where there are always examples out there that on the surface are well restored, but have been badly put together in the past.
we are not talking about bits of patched up bodywork, but the type of car that you need to start looking into its build to find its real problems.

The sad fact about these type of cars is that many are in the lower end of the market. An investment-grade car should have all the documentation to show its build and restoration, but when those documents are lacking in ower priced cars, it is up to you to do your homework. So, with any old car you are thinking of buying, check, check again, then recheck before you buy.
