LEGO, those wondrous little building blocks that generations of enjoyed and got frustrated with have now been used to make a full-size replica of a 1964 1/2” Ford Mustang V8 coupe.

The LEGO team produced the car from 194,900 LEGO and DUPLO® bricks, which took over 1200 man-hours to assemble.
Southern Ford Dealers partnered with Lego to produce the replica, which will go on display at the Ford Driving School attraction at LEGOLAND® Florida Resort in Winter Haven, Fla.

The detail which went into this build was probably as much as the real thing, which included a virtual horn, sounds of a Mustang engine, with usable headlights and tail lights.

Does it inspire you to get those building blocks out again?
