Huge 700 Car Collection, Including Chargers And Barracuda

Most people are happy when they find just a few classic vehicles holed up in a garage or barn, but what about if you came across over 700? This is the case with the Hackenberger collection now available at Vanderbrink Auctions.

The whole collection was put together by Ron and Eunice Hackenberger, Norwalk, Ohio who bought his first vehicle in the shape of a Studebaker at the age of 15, expanding the collections to what you see today. Running his own trucking company amongst other endeavours led Ron to travel the country and pick up any vehicles he could find along the way. These seem to include absolutely everything from cars, trucks, motorbikes and everything in between.

With over 700 vehicles featured for auction, there’s a bit of everything in here for everyone with 250 Studebakers, from tractors to muscle cars. The auction listing says that there are some Plymouth’s, along with ‘a ’65 Mustang, a ’66 Dodge Charger, a ’67 Plymouth Barracuda and a ’57 Chevy.’ We can only presume that with so many vehicles up for auction there will be some other muscle cars dotted around in the sale. The vehicles range from complete original, to restoration projects and many parts. If you’re a Studebaker collector, this seems to be the auction to visit this year.

The collection is still being fully categorized and the full auction will take place July 14-16th 2017. Gates will open to the event at 7 AM with the auction starting at 9 AM in Norwalk, Ohio.
