This Ford Mustang has gone through a part restoration, with replaced powertrain and lots of upgrade parts.
By the sounds of it, it is a driver, but you would need to put some more work put into it from top to toe, to make it anything like a show car.
But, if your criteria is to have a classic Mustang which is a daily driver, which won’t break the bank, this could be the Mustang for you.

HISTORY:
Came from the factory with a 351 4bbl, Shaker hood and a 4 speed transmission. Very rare for a fastback.
That combo was mostly installed on the Mach 1 mustang.
Somewhere along the line the original drivetrain was removed and replaced with a very high performance early 302 backed with a C4 auto transmission built for horsepower.

Car had been sitting for a few years in the garage so the last owner decided it would be a good idea to pull the engine
and have it gone through.It was taken apart,cleaned,new gaskets, any problems found were fixed and then put back together.
Have receipt for that work also.
The drivetrain only has approx 3000 miles on it since rebuild in 2000.Then approx 500 miles since late 2013.

Have a 1 inch thick folder of receipts for most all work done to this car and all parts bought.

We have found no rust besides surface rust under this car and the steel is solid.
Torque boxes look to be solid also.(See Photos)
You can also see the floorpans, rear frame rails and trunk area are also nice.

ENGINE:
This is a high performance engine with lots of time and money invested.
Engine balanced ,blueprinted and line bored.
Forged flat top pistons .30 over.
New Clevite main and rod bearings.
Gaskets and seals all around.
ARP 154-3601 Head Bolts,Manifold Bolts.
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge TFS-51400003 Aluminum Heads.
10.25:1 Compression Ratio.
Competition Cam Kit 281RF-HR10 Cam & Kit.
FMS-M6564A351 Roller Rockers 1.6 Lift.
True Roller Timing set.
Holley 0-80457S Carburetor.
Lowrise Duel Pane aluminum Intake Manifold.
Holley 12-833 Chrome Fuel Pump.

EXTERIOR:
Fiberglass Mustang Cowl Hood which needs adjusted to fit better.
Has no hood springs.
Flat Black Upper Paint with Calypso Coral lower paint.
A couple dings here and there but nothing we found to be to serious.
Older Paint but good for a driver.
New paint would make this a show car for sure.Would be an easy repaint.
New 14 inch Micky Thomson front and rear tires on
Daisy coke bottle rims.
Heavy duty traction bars.
Lights and turn signals are working.
Wipers work.

INTERIOR:
Interior is in very nice condition.
Fold down rear seat added. Hump Hugger Console.
Have receipts for most all new interior parts.
Sound system with speakers and amp in the trunk.
Can hook to Ipod.
