Find Of The Day: 1965 Pontiac GTO

This seems like an interesting project which comes with a non-original 455 and what seems to be plenty of trimmings to get you going with the build. It looks like it’s had some restoration work done at some point in the past and then just stuffed in a corner, but the car does look like it has some potential.
Plenty of mismatch panels and window sticker may point to being some sort of drag car in the past, but they do seem to look solid underneath the layers of dust. The ad. says you get a new GTO hood, with plenty of trim pieces that come with the car. The seats are said to come from a 1967 model, but some 1965 seats are included in the sale.
The engine doesn’t have much details with it apart from its a nonoriginal 455 and comes with a front disc brake kit and some spares. The motor it said to run well, but no other details here.
It’s hard to judge a car while it is buried under other items, but the vehicle does look solid with a running engine and no clear signs of rust at a reasonable price point of $4,550, with roughly 3 1/2 days to go. For a 65 GTO such as this one, it could definitely be worth a punt.
