There are many superlatives that can be thrown at the last offering from Equus, the Bass. Fantastic, retro muscle car design wrapped around modern running gear. Probably the closest you can get to a modern muscle car with a homage to vintage looks. Basically, the ultimate that one tries to be achieve from a promod or restomod without hacking up an original. Now the company from Troy, Michigan have released a vehicle known as the Throwback, summing up the last few generations of Corvette.

The design is meant to give the best of what you can get from the C3 and C7 gen. Corvettes, with other elements thrown into the mix. Obvious standouts are the side coves from the first generation, split rear window from the C2, rounded taillights and the lines from the last two generations. The three huge tailpipes at the back make the car look like it’s got enough power to jettison it into space.

As Equus can customise the car to your exacts needs, there is no specific powertrain, but they say the options can go to 1000hp, 822 lb-torque doing 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 mph. They say the car is a limited production model with possibly 25 being built and prices starting at $130k. If you want the ultimate in Corvette, this maybe your option.
