Dodge Challenger and Charger Get Shakedown Package

Dodge have released a few new package for their Chargers and Challengers in the shape of the new Shakedown Package and re-release of vintage colors. The shakedown package will be available 2018 models of the R/T and 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker retailing for $995.

First shown at the 2016 SEMA show, the package will include an asymmetrical black racing stripe running the length of the car, white-face gauges and an Alpine audio system pumping out 275-watts with six speakers for the R/T Shaker and a 506-watt amplifier with nine speakers on the R/T Shaker Plus and 392 Hemi Scat Pack Shaker. Loud enough for your own outdoor musclecar party if that’s your thing.

The 1969 and 1970 B5 Blue and Plum Crazy vintage colors are coming back on all 2018 models, which have been two of the classic muscle car colors since their inception. As for the next upgrade to the Charger and Challenger themselves, it looks like it will be around 2021 for the next generation which will be based on the Maserati Ghibli platform.
