Chevrolet Corvette Breaks The 700,000-Mile Mark

A Florida 2000 Chevrolet Corvette owner claims his car has done over 709,972 miles since purchase.

According to a Carfax report  the cars had three owners, the first adding 196,186 miles, the second taking it to 234,288 miles and third owner reaching 712,793 miles.

The car seems to have only had basic maintenance, with most of the work being done on the electrical system.

The great takeaway here is that with a regular maintenance regime, car engines can go for far longer than most expect. Let’s just hope the car can hit 1,000,000 miles. Then it will be something for GM to shout about.
