The Plymouth Road Runner was produced between 1968-1980, but it was the late 60s to early 70s examples which are the best examples.

Here we have 2 fine examples spotted an a used car dealership. A 1971 and 1972 model, both with 383Ci.(6.3L) V8 engines.

1971 was the start of the second Gen. of Roadrunners with a more rounded frontend than previous models, with inset grille, headlights, a longer length and an inch shorter wheelbase.
The 72 model was more or less the same with the grille slightly tweaked with new taillights and side marker lights.

The 383’s were slighly detuned, but that meant lower insurance and they ran on regular gas.
Maybe not as hot property as late 60’s models, but still fine examples of the linage.
