Should I Buy This GTX Convertible?

Rarely do I get jealous at someone else’s car as I feel blessed for what I have. But, golly gee when I saw this picture I got jealous. You see my Road Runner looks very much like this except for the drop top.

I love that blue color on the GTX Convertible, the red or orange on the hood and of course the tire and wheel package. I have never owned a drop top. Where I live scares me that I would not get the use out of it. I am starting to feel I was wrong. We have had some great stretches of weather of late and the thought of driving one of these is getting to me. I know of another 69 drop top out there that needs some restoration work and this picture is driving me to push for the guy to sell it to me. He said he would entertain my offers this fall but darn I would like it now so I can get going on it.

I just believe certain classic cars look great with the top down. Why buy one and never drop it? Hair getting messed up? Then don’t buy it you fool. I am in line for a convertible and have been thinking hard about it for some time and I believe this picture just sealed the deal. I am going to go after the drop top and give it my best shot to buy it. I will keep you posted on any progress later.
