That Exclusive Barn Find

It finally happened to you. Someone told you a big secret about some cars in an old barn outside of town. You jump in your pick up truck and race over. You scramble through the twigs and bushes and look inside. Eureka and happy days are here again. The cars are in the barn. Dusty, dirty, flat tires but there they are! Now what? Can you really drag two of them home if the owner decides to sell them to you? Where will you park them and better yet where in the heck do I start this undertaking?

That my friends happens all over da world. It’s an global issue whether you find Vespa scooters in France or a GTO in Georgia. What do I do now and how much is this going to cost? Most of us are not rich cattle barons or oil tycoons. We are generally working class people no better than the late great Benny Hill. We are restricted by space, time and money. But, it’s a GTO you say! I know I know. You may need to pass on this due to these reasons. That hurts bad. Your first big find and you need to tell your source you are a loser with no means to do this project. Well, remember you are not a loser but you are amongst many other losers in the same boat. Guys in France are just as disappointed as you are in Georgia.

You still have options. Pass it on for a fee, buy it then sell as is, many options. You may not make as much money, but you will have the peace of mind that this car will hopefully get restored and that’s as good as you can hope for.
