3 Of The Best Muscle Cars Of The 90’s cars

The 90s, let’s say, wasn’t the most remarkable decade for muscle cars. However, models were still being produced that were the poster boys of the time, just as they are now.
The 90’s was also the inspirational decade where driving was still a gateway to freedom.
So here are three standout models from the decade.

Ford Mustang SVT Cobra

Looking quite sedate by today’s standards, the SVT Cobra came out of Ford’s Special Vehicles Team.
With a lack of Shelby Mustangs in this decade, Mustang fans had this as their benchmark with a 5L V8 engine producing 235 HP. You could also get a GT Mustang, but the SVT Cobra was the one.

Dodge Viper

The Dodge Viper was an incredible beast. An 8L V10 engine making 400 HP gave the car huge power. It was a powerful track machine and still is, to this day, but the first versions would punish you dearly with the slightest wrong move.

Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1

One positive result that came out of GM buying Lotus was the 1990 Corvette ZR-1. The car aimed to be the fastest production vehicle of the time. The car had a 5.7 L V8 engine producing 375 hp. 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds.
