2020 Mid-Engine Corvette Spotted!

A mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette has been a dream for many a year and now it looks like it’s becoming a reality, especially with these spy shots. Josh B.’s Facebook group captured these images in Michigan as the car pulled into a McDonald’s (Is this the burger choice of mid engines??).

The car is clearly covered up as much as possible, but show signs of a design similar to the current C7, the mid-engine dictating exactly what they can squeeze in and where. It could be that the engine follows the line of a hybrid following current supercar trends. Squint and look closely and you will see side vents maybe to cool down the engine, deep-set headlights into the fenders, quad exhaust and wide stance.

The car is hopefully destined for a debut in Detroit in January 2019, which means plenty more tweaks and upgrades before the final version.
