2017 has been an exciting year for muscle/pony cars with the top three manufacturers all producing vehicles that have pushed the boundaries and given far more expensive vehicles a run for their money. Dodge, Ford and Chevrolet have all seemed to produce vehicles with a ‘wow’ factor and this video compares almost top models.

The Dodge Demon was probably the most anticipated muscle car of the year with its outlandishly high levels of horsepower and stamping firmly exactly what a modern muscle car should be. The Camaro ZL1 1LE and Shelby GT350r don’t just have the muscle/pony car heritage, but now are as capable as any of the other sports cars out there and as the Mustang this year got released into Europe and beyond, it’s starting to compete against domestic makes extremely well.
