2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Secrets

The upcoming Dodge Challenger SRT Demon has been causing quite a stir over the last few months with small snippets of information coming out regularly from Dodge. Because the information is slow to be released and only comes in teaser format of small videos and bits of information, it’s up to the rest of us to piece together what we have up to now to imply what this mighty muscle machine will eventually turn out like.

Below are two summary videos which will give you some indication of what we know up to this point. We have been reporting almost daily on the information as it comes through, but what we can tell you for definite is that the new Demon will be the new most powerful vehicle in the Dodge lineup.

The hopes at this point will be a vehicle that doesn’t just resurrect the old Demon name from Dodge, but also brings back a muscle car, you could potentially take straight to the dragstrip and is street legal. It should also raise the bar to compete against the other muscle car offerings, but one question I haven’t seen raised yet is the horsepower levels most likely be reaching supercar levels, so will the new Dodge Demon be able to handle as well round a track as a Corvette grand sport or Ford GT350R?

Personally, I would like to see a muscle car that is every bit a thoroughbred which is also be able to take on any of its competitors around a winding track, with horsepower levels to scare the supercar brigade.
