2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Exclusive First View

There’s been much hullabaloo about the upcoming 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon, with only teaser videos and small snippets of information for us to go off. Now it seems the full vehicle has been captured by the keen lens people over at Jalopnik shot in the Detroit area.

Flared wheel arches, fat tires and huge hood scoop seeing all to be in order here. The huge air grabber seems to be the biggest giveaway of its huge horsepower rating, which will hopefully be the largest cold air intake on a production vehicle. The car also sports some nice hood pins and is sporting winter tires rather than the huge wide dragstrip things put out in promotional images up to now.

The shot seemed to show more than one seat, rather than the presumed one seater, but we are still waiting on final power output figures, which should come along pretty soon. The car is clearly a Challenger through and through, but we are still itching to find out the potential performance stats, which is really what this car is all about.

Vin Diesel almost let the new vehicle slip in a recent promotional video for The Fast And The Furious 8, which does look remarkably similar to this one, but we cannot say for sure if it is the soon-to-be-released Dodge Demon or not.
