2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: Now A Convertible.

The new 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 had its launch at the New York Auto Show, which was also the release of the convertible version.

The hardtop version has created quite a stir as expected, so the convertible version, which is also powered by the supercharged 6.2L LT4 engine at 640HP, should give you the same performance, now with top-down fun.
The convertible is fully automatic from the touch of a button up to 30 mph. The convertible top can also be operated via the key fob.

The same options are available on both the hardtop convertible with a six speed manual, active rev matching and the new 10 speed automatic transmission.
It’s still too early to get the full rundown on the convertible, but Chevrolet say it will have ‘modular under body bracing’ to give that extra support from the lack of roof.

Chevrolet say the Camaro ZL1 is track ready out of the blocks, making it one of the most tempting muscle car offerings this year.
