1986 Camaro Iroc Z Commercial

‘Iroc and roll,’ …get it..?
Yeah, this 1986 Camaro Iroc Z commercial is about as ’80’s’ as you can get. The Iroc Z was a third generation Camaro released in 1985, named after the International Race of Champions. An option package on the Z/28 originally, the Iroc had a 305 c.i./5.0L V8 with 215HP tops. During the landscape the 80s pony cars, this wasn’t too shabby.

Really, the only thing this commercial lacks is a Rocky training montage and maybe a guest appearance by David Hasselhoff, but you can’t have everything in life.

The 80s wasn’t exactly the high point for muscle/pony cars, but the third gen. camaros now have a certain boxy quality and personally think they look quite cool.

Irocs and third gen. Camaros can still be picked up for a reasonable amount of money. In good condition they can still be a great fun and used for a platform for moding without too many sleepless nights.
