1979 L Code SS El Camino By Jerry Davis

This is a fantastic 1979 El Camino SS.

The El Camino was first released in 1959 as a competitor to the Ford Ranchero pickup.
Not a great success initially, as production stopped in 1960, but models were produced again from 1964 until 1987.

The El Camino was always a great vehicle for those who wanted some performance and daily functionality in pickup form. Almost like two vehicles in one, plus a great platform to be turned into a resto mod.

The El Camino linage has as much heritage as any other muscle car vehicle, plus it always had space for all your buddies in the back!
