1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird From Mecum

This 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird will be coming up for auction at Mecum on November 16-18 in Las Vegas and if you’re in the market for one of these birds, this example is possibly one of the finest you can. All original, 426 Hemi and comes with the A36 Performance Axle Package.

The E74 code 426ci. Hemi engine which has been ‘refreshed’ with OEM parts and comes without the Hemi decal on the air cleaner and even has a Sox & Martin sticker on the dash from a trip to their tuning works back in the day.

An all original Hemi Superbird be good enough, but the interior also has all the luxuries available at the time which include:
C15 deluxe seat belts
C16 console
C62 6-way driver’s seat
C92 floor mat,
J41 pedal dress-up
N85 tachometer
P6XA premium black/charcoal interior
P31 power windows
R22 AM/8-track stereo
S81 wood-grain sport steering wheel
Most of these additions complete rarities at the time, including the power windows.
