1970 Dodge Charger Tantrum From Jay Leno’s Garage

Firstly, this beast has been put together by SpeedKore Performance. The same guys who built the 1970 Plymouth Barracuda for the Fast and Furious 7 movie.

Completely customised, the first thing that stands out is the complete carbon fibre design. the look is very subtle, like most carbon fibre setups, but the customisation doesn’t and there.
Under the hood you find a 9.0L Mercury Marine offshore boat racing engine, twin-turbos producing 1650 HP. This goes through a Tremec six-speed manual, limited slip rear differential, huge intercooler and Michelin Sourced 345-series tires.

SpeedKore Performance stayed true to the original Charger design, while adding carbon fibre to most of the panels, enhancing the original charger’s design.

As Jay Leno says himself, the Dodge Charger is the bad guy’s car, just like in the movie Bullitt and when you’re able to drive a Charger like this one, who wants to be the good guy?
