1967 Dodge Coronet 440 R/T – A Mans Car

This video is more of a humorous take on the 1967 Dodge Coronet 440 R/T than anything else, so take some of the comments with a pinch of salt.

By 1967 muscle cars were coming into their own. The Coronet, depending on the model you chose became a standard of the time, but like the rest of the muscle car world eventually succumbed to emission controls and high insurance prices.

The car essentially represented it’s time of the live now generation and a glimpse back into the driving sensibilities 50 years ago. A simple, straightforward machine by today’s standards.

The car may seem antiquated to some, but it will only be the same in 50 years time when everybody will probably be driving around in electric vehicles and scoffing at the fact we used gasoline to power our cars. It’s just all part of our automotive timeline.
