1966 Dodge Charger Hemi Heads Back To Detroit

An invitation from the Historic Vehicle Association (HVA) has brought back a 1966 Dodge Charger Hemi to Detroit to celebrate the model’s 50th anniversary. The Dodge Charger being one of the main models to make the motor city and Chrysler famous.

Only 468 1966 Dodge Chargers had the 426 Hemi V8 option, which was capable of 425 bhp, propelling the car to 60 mph in roughly 7 seconds.

The car when new was priced at $4500. Examples can now can fetch $100,000+ in prime condition.
This example is owned by Jason and Brenda Hephner, Ohio, which is only one of three un-restored 1966 charges with its original silver exterior and red interior.
