transmission: 6 speed manual.

I have a nostalgic fondness for the Dodge Monaco as the 70s version was almost the de facto standard cop car in most TV shows and films – The blues Brothers, CHIPS, Smoking The Bandit 2 and Hill Street blues.
the irony is also most of my memories are of these Dodge Monaco cop cars getting either smashed up or chasing the good guys…

‘ I removed the 276 gear from the 742 rear and installed 391ring and pinion which unleashed it. This car is strictly a roadster it has no top. It has two seats and two seats only. It couldn’t have all go and no whoa so I installed disc brakes on the front and new drums on the back. I removed all chrome trim and blacked out the bumpers. It has all new gauges, am, FM,cd player and I frenched the antenna and shaved the door handles. It has a 12 gal fuel cell mounted in the trunk. I connected the front and rear frame with box tubing. Car drives and handles like a dream. Car has a clear WV title.’
