What Is The Current Cheapest Sports Car?

By  |

Veering away from muscle car territory and the ubiquitous V8 engine, there is an argument for a vehicle which still has performance and some of the muscle car or pony car heritage, we can still get the feel of the topline vehicles without the same price tag.

Obviously, nothing can beat the timeless V8 engine, but there will always be a segment of those who want something new, with performance and arguably, a little more affordable.

The 2016 Ford Mustang V6 fastback comes in at $24,145 msrp, with a 3.7L V6 engine, six speed manual transmission, 17 inch aluminum wheels and still enough torque to give you a bunch of fun.

For a vehicle with performance and the Mustang heritage, you could obviously do a lot worse.
Go for a test drive, smoke the tires a little and see that you are getting a decent package for your money.
