A Weird Right Hand Drive Model A?

Look at the picture closely. I know that when we opened the door of this garage a year ago in Michigan, I about fell over. A right hand drive Model A?
I spent ages tracking down this ride, mainly because a right-hand drive model A is so out of the ordinary. Quite impractical on our roads, but I wanted it.

I said “sold” right away but eventually, that one was not for sale. We drove seven hours and this is the one car the guy who owned it, would not sell. Heck, he doesn’t even drive it. We were off on a bad foot already.
I would drive this car and show it off as much as possible as I had never seen one in person. Now, it’s right in front of me and I have a trailer and he says I can buy anything else but this one.

So, I went to another garage to look at another Model A but I landed up not buying it for various reasons.
But, I cannot get this right hand out of my head. Its always the case with the one that got away.

It can be just that one thing on a car that attracts us. It maybe the body styling, a unique feature or something no one else would look twice at that is appealing. It may mean the vehicle is worth millions or nothing, but it doesn’t matter.

I just wanted one for the uniqueness of the deal. It hurt for a while, subsided, and now since I found my picture in my archives it hurts again. Geez, I wanted that car.
