Watch The Last 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon
By Dave Ashton
The last of the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demons to be built rolled off the production line at the Brampton Assembly plant in Brampton, Ontario, Canada recently captured here in all its glory. With only 3,300 being built it was always going to be a short production run, but still very momentous being arguably the high point in modern muscle cars.
With 840 horses under the hood and a plethora of insane stats., it brings a smile to the face of any muscle car fan showing that there’s still plenty of life left in the breed and there’s still a long way to go. The last Demon will pop up again being auctioned off with the last 2017 Dodge Viper at Barrett Jackson auctions, Connecticut with proceeds going to the United Way. The first Challenger Hellcat raised $1.65 million at Barrett-Jackson, so this pairing should fetch a nice tidy sum.
There was tons of buildup and promotion to the release of the Demon, with even a cameo role in the last Fast and the Furious movie which will clearly help bolster ongoing Hellcat sales, but also gives a possible strong indication as to a positive future direction for these muscle cars in general, with ever bigger horsepower.
