If you have been keeping tabs on the long saga concerning the old and new presenters of Top Gear UK, you will know that their first official appointment, Chris Evans may be joined by an unknown.
The promo video below is calling on people to submit a 30 second video of themselves to audition as potentially new presenters of Top Gear UK.

It will be easy to be cynical about this approach, but giving regular car enthusiasts the chance to become a possible top gear presenter, could be a good thing.
When James May and Richard Hammond joined the show, they were hardly well-known names. It has been a slow build for us to get to know when enjoy the free pass presenters, so it may be the same with the new presenters.

Either way, if you are interested in submitting your own 30 second video, do it quick, the deadline is today! (you may have to travel to the UK a few times a year if you win!!)
