The Real Deal Muscle Car Chart

So today I thought I would take a day off and clear my mind but landed up seeing this.

Credit a post on Facebook for the chart I included. How funny is the chart? But, how real is it? It serves as a reminder or maybe a warning for those of us scouring the classifieds for our dream car.

You see when we see the car of our dreams we forget the basics. All we see is this 67 Camaro sitting in a garage with the current owner running down a laundry list of items for our ears. (See the chart again). And to think we stop thinking at times and are ready to hand over hard earned cash for something we really know deep down has issues.

Do we do this with other products? Do we buy a mattress that we know had been regularly soiled on? Do we buy used Windows for our house that have cracks in them? Why do we have home inspections when we buy a house? Termites, flooded basements, roof leaks, you get my drift. But throw a 65 Impala SS under our noses and we forget all of our golden rules.
Please, next time you are ready to shell out the big ones, stop and take a deep breath. Pause for a moment and do not get caught up in the fire.
